How New Cumnock Walkways Group is Transforming Footpaths and Walkways in the Community

I had great pleasure in joining the New Cumnock Walkways group today and seeing their fantastic achievements so far on repairing and upgrading the footpaths and walkways in New Cumnock.

It was also great to hear their plans for the future, one of them being to work towards opening a multi purpose pathway on the old Railway Line between Boig Road and Knockshinnock to link in with existing footpaths.

"It was a lovely walk and I even got to inspect an old Railway Signal, a bit of our Heritage! Well done to all of them for the hard work so far, they have done an amazing job."
